As summer comes to a close, we welcome the start of the school year, which brings with it the start of many new friendships and lots of fun at the West Hillhurst Community Preschool. Our incredible team have been working hard throughout the summer to ensure that the Preschool is ready for reopening, taking direction from Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the Ministry of Child and Family Services (our licensing body), whilst ensuring that we have lots of fun and excited experiences planned for the children.
Our wonderful Ms. Giulliana will be the teacher for our Tuesday/Thursday morning class as well as continuing our Spanish programming on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. We are pleased that Ms. Lisa will be returning as the teacher for Tuesday/Thursday afternoon classes and has filled the newly-created role of Preschool Administrator. Ms. Nancy will be our Teaching Assistant for all the afternoon classes. This year, we welcome Ms. Cicely, who will teach our Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning class and Ms. Payton, who will be our Teaching Assistant for all morning classes. Our teachers are a vital component to the Preschool’s success, and we are thrilled to have a dynamic and wonderful team.
We are once again pleased to sell boxes of delicious apples from Davison Orchards in B.C. All sales help support and enhance our preschool curriculum.
