Spending Time Outdoors

It’s so great to be back at Preschool; it feels like we have never been away! The teachers have enjoyed watching old friendships continue were they left off in March and new friendships blossom. Thank you to all the parents for supporting the teachers with the drop off and pick up procedures. They are working really well; the children are happy and excited to come into class. The classroom is a hive of activities as always and the children have produced some beautiful artwork for our bulletin board. We will be sharing these on our Facebook page and website, so remember to check these out!

October was a busy month, each of our classes continued with their themed topics, including The Farm, The Ocean, All About Me, and Colour and Shape. With our beautiful Fall weather, the children have spent lots of time playing in the “Secret Garden”. Ms. Nancy has been extremely busy, creating and making lots of fun, natural resources. It is great to see the children playing in the Mud Kitchen, making soups and cakes with leaves, grass and flowers. They all tasted delicious! There has also been lots of balancing of planks, rolling of cars and digging with friends. We can’t wait to see how the children use the Secret Garden in the snow!
